Carly's journey began April of 2009.......when Scott & me decided to start IVF......I had to quit smoking in order to begin the process......One of the hardest things I've ever had to do in my life! I quit smoking on April 14, 2009 (My father's who passed at 53 years old's birthday)
We met with the IVF doctor's in June of 2009 and began the long process.....we were so nervous and scared of what was to come of this journey of ours......with my husband;s insurance we knew it would be very expensive for us, but, we wanted a child so badly, we were both getting older, I was getting to the age that they cut off on the insurance, so it was our time!
IVF was a tough experience, not knowing if it would work or what would happen, the doctor's said without IVF I have 0% chance of having a child.......but, with IVF we had a 50% chance......
Time had past, tons of shots, lots of testing, blood work everyday, ultrasounds, injections and the list goes on and on, then came the day we found out we were expecting......they had told us all the eggs left had died, so we had no other chances besides the little miracle growing inside me.........to be continued!
